Insurance

Mind Wellness Institute is currently in network with the following insurance carriers:

  • Aetna

  • Optum

  • United Health Care

  • Mass General Brigham Health Plan

Out-of-Network Benefits

If your insurance provider is not listed above, Mind Wellness Institute will be considered an out-of-network provider.
You may request a detailed appointment receipt (superbill) to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your specific out-of-network benefits.

Our out-of-network fees are:

  • $150 per session for individual therapy

  • $200 per session for couple's therapy

Here are some important insurance questions to ask your provider prior to your intake session:

  • Does my plan include outpatient mental health benefits?

  • Does my plan cover services from out-of-network providers?

  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and how much of it has been met?

  • Is there a limit on the number of therapy sessions per year?

  • What will my copay or coinsurance be after my deductible is met?

Payments

All payments are collected by credit card at the end of each visit.
Credit card information is securely stored using HIPAA-compliant medical record software.
Clients may also request to pay by check at each session.

Cancellation Policy

We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or appointments that are missed without notice, will be charged the full session fee. Exceptions may be made in cases of emergency.
