Mind Wellness Institute accepts the following insurance carriers: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (including out-of-state plans), Harvard Pilgrim Health Insurance, United Health Care, Optum, and Mass General Brigham Employees Plan

Out-of-Network Provider

If your insurance is not listed above, Mind Wellness Institute would be considered an out-of-network provider. You may request an appointment receipt to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement based on your specific benefits. Our out-of-network rate is $150 per visit.

We recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your cost for sessions even if Rooted accepts your insurance:

• ​Does my health insurance plan include outpatient mental health benefits?

• Does my health plan cover out-of-network providers?

• Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?

• Is there a maximum number of therapy sessions allowed under my current health plan?

• What is my copay after I meet my deductible?

Payments

All payments will be collected by credit card (most major credit cards, FSA, or HSA cards) at the end of each visit. The credit card information will be stored electronically using HIPAA-compliant medical records software. Clients can request to pay per visit by check.
